The purpose of this network is to assist earning-to-give for far-future charities, either on a permanent basis or in-between other altruistic work. It is open to Effective Altruists who aim to earn-to-give themselves or who wish to help others earn-to-give. Members discuss the strengths and weaknesses of different careers, network, and share advice on job applications and career advancement. We occasionally discuss unique giving opportunities but this is not a focus of the network; other sites and organizations provide a more dedicated discussion of optimal charities.
